  • THz-TDS on PVDF–PANI composites and microplastics (0.4–2.5 THz): acquired time-domain waveforms; retrieved n, κ, α and frequency-dependent σ(ω) using standard extraction. Compared effective-medium approximations (Maxwell–Garnett vs. Bruggeman) across loading fractions. (PVDF–PANI manuscript in preparation)
  • Femtosecond nondegenerate 400 nm pump / 800 nm probe on aluminium thin films (10–60 nm): observed coherent Brillouin (acoustic phonon) oscillations in ΔR/R. (White-light probe experimental setup in progress)
  • Instrumentation: operated Ti:sapphire fs systems (Coherent Mantis oscillator, RegA amplifier, Verdi pump), closed-cycle He and open-cycle liquid-N2 cryostats. Wrote custom Python libraries for SR830 lock-in amplifier, ESP301 motion controller. Data-acquisition system for white-light probe experiments in progress.
  • First-principles support for THz assignments: vibrational analysis of a benzoxazolium–coumarin derivative (Gaussian16, B3LYP-D3/6-311++G(d,p)). (Preprint on arXiv; under ACS JPCL review)
  • 1T-TaS2 pump–probe: assisted with alignment, experimental setup, data acquisition.

  • Quantum ESPRESSO workflows: structure relaxation → band structure → total/partial DOS and k-resolved DOS for bilayer graphene and 5×4 graphene–WS2 / graphene–MoS2 heterostructures on an HPC cluster.
  • Set up convergence-aware phonon-dispersion, dielectric-constant, and Fermi-surface evaluations (cutoffs, k-mesh, pseudopotentials).
